SUPER BOWL 50 PARTY
Are you ready for some football?
Super Bowl 50 is going to be the BEST! You don’t want to miss it. Who are you cheering for?
I’m sure you know that Denver Broncos is the AFC champion and Carolina Panthers is the NFC champions. Super Bowl 50 will be played at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 7 at 6:30 EST.
Denver Bronco’s have always been our team and Carolina Panthers are my grandson’s team. So it’s going to be a good game.
Does your family go all out for Super Bowl? We always enjoy a party on Super Bowl, rather it’s just us or a whole lot more. We have our favorite appetizer’s and get comfortable, cause you don’t want to miss the game, the commercial’s or the half time. So have everything ready and enjoy!
Here are FIVE of my all-time favorite appetizer’s, just click on the the recipe title to get the recipe.
My recipe for Spicy Cheesy Green Chili Dip is one of our all-time favorites.
Of course you have to have chips and dip and this Avocado Salsa is perfect with any chips.
Want something creamy, delicious, and easy to make? It’s another favorite Stuffed Mushrooms.
No party is complete without a good Spinach Dip and I have just the recipe.
Jalapeno Bacon Pinwheels are creamy, dreamy goodness, and another must have. Put them all together and trust me, you’ll have something for everyone and a table fit for a SUPER BOWL to remember.
This year the Halftime Show will be Coldplay with special guest appearance by Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. With it being 50th year, I’m sure it’s going to be something to remember.
We always like to have a Superbowl pool, everyone can join in on, you don’t have to bet on a certain team. All you do is draw a chart with ten lines down and ten lines across to make 100 squares. Okay, I did that for you, and made it just for your SUPERBOWL 50 party!
At the start of your party have everyone buy as many squares as they want, they can be a quarter a square or a dollar a square on up. When they are all filled in, using cards from 1 – 10 shuffle them and draw one. Place that number first, then the next number going down till you’ve got all 10 numbers. Shuffle the cards and do the same across the top of the chart.
Then at each quarter the square with the winning numbers win a percentage of the pot and so on until 100 percent of the pot is paid out. At the end of each quarter, you will use the score of the game by looking at the LAST digit of each team’s score. This will determine the winner. For example if the score is Bronco’s 17 and Panther’s 14, you would go across to the 4 and down to the 7 and the person in that square would be the winner!
Example of winning pot, there are 100 squares so at a dollar a square you could give $20 the first 3 quarters and $40 to the winner of the end of the game! Or just split it 4 ways, it’s up to you. Have fun with it!
So no matter who your are cheering for…
Enjoy your Super Bowl 50 party and good luck on the pool!
