Grandmas Chocolate Sauce
is my sweet mother-in-law’s recipe. It’s a chocolate sauce to put over ice cream, like hot fudge. You can use it for banana splits or over warm cake is also good. It’s a family favorite that brings back many, many memories.
This post is a tribute to the best Mother-in-law I could have asked for. Today we celebrate her birthday, the first one without her. She is very missed, but it brings joy to remember her and beautiful life she lived. She was an great example to all that knew her. I am so blessed to have known her and had her in my life for 36 years. We were very close and I have many special memories that I will always treasure. Some of those memories happened in the kitchen. If you stopped by at meal time, no matter what, you were invited to stay. I remember several times I would ask if we should we make more, she would always answer me “there will be enough” and there always was!
Grandmas Chocolate Sauce was always a quick treat and a favorite. She LOVED her chocolate! So today I wanted to share her recipe with you.
The picture in the background is one I cross-stitched for her many years ago. It was very special to her, she had everyone that visited her read it.
Mom, you are very missed, but treasured and always loved, Happy Birthday! ♥
Thank you for letting me share her with you. I know you will love Grandmas Chocolate Sauce. Have fun making memories of your own.
