Hi everyone! This is Kristin from Dizzy Busy and Hungry and I am happy to be back at Memories by the Mile for my monthly post. I hope everyone is staying warm with all this chilly weather! We have had quite a bit of snow in our area, but luckily so far it has all been manageable, although maybe a little inconvenient. Of course, my teenage boys love it when school is delayed or canceled! However, they won’t love it so much when they are still in school in July, with no air conditioning, haha! Keeping fingers crossed that it won’t come to that!
While February often brings many of us snow, it also bring us Valentine’s Day, and so this month I am sharing a recipe that is so easy and fun and perfect for Valentine’s Day. The idea actually came as a spin-off from my Strawberry Cream Truffles, another Valentine’s Day recipe I shared a few days ago. The creamy center of the truffles was such a huge hit in my house, I wanted to use that filling for something else as well! So I created edible bowls using sugar cookie dough, spooned in the truffle filling, added cute chocolate/strawberry swirl candy hearts, and the Strawberry Cheesecake Cookie Tarts came into being! The kids and husband all raved over it, and I bet your family will too!
