I have The Best Ever Fudge recipe to share with you. But first can we talk? Can you believe Christmas is TWO WEEKS away? Are you ready or almost ready?
Okay, I’m going to be frank here. I just realized this fact two days ago. Of course I knew it was coming up and that it’s December the 11th. But it just happened way to fast! Is anyone else feeling this way? I think we should make a law or something that Thanksgiving can’t come late anymore. I know that’s what threw me off, right! I mean I don’t even have my tree up. I always have my tree up right after Thanksgiving. I not only don’t have present bought, okay four, I don’t even know what I am going to buy. I always know what I’m going to buy. Are you with me? I am totally unprepared this year!!!
This is what I’ve learned, never let this happen again because it kind of takes the fun out of celebrating the whole month of December. You know what I mean? Those family traditions, decorating the tree, wrapping presents, singing Christmas carols, the Christmas movies, and the baking. Thank heaven for my blog I have made some Christmas goodies. Have you checked out my Candied Pumpkin Spice Pecans or my Jewel Dipped Sugar Cookies? Had to get that in, this is a blog after all.
But now it’s time to get serious, I only have two weeks till Christmas. So here’s my plan. Tomorrow, whoops, it is tomorrow. Okay today, I told, I mean asked my husband if he would go shopping with me. We are going to buy ALL the presents, then coming home and wrap them, while putting up the tree and sing Christmas carols. Then we will go to bed and fall asleep while watching a Christmas movie that I have recorded. Then the last two weeks of December you will find me in the kitchen baking and enjoying the season. When I’m not in the truck driving from coast to coast Sound like a plan, wish me luck. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Now back to the The Best Ever Fudge I promised you at the beginning of my breakdown. By the way you are the best friends a girl to have to let me go on and on and help me make a plan. Back to the fudge. When I first started “Memories by the Mile” I shared my husbands favorite, the best ever fudge, my “Million Dollar Fudge”. Since I moved over to WordPress I have been editing some of my older posts and my “Million Dollar Fudge” is one of them. So I thought while I was telling you my Christmas problems I would re-share that recipe with you. I know your going to love it as much as we do. But I have changed it a little. That’s why I want to direct your attention back to it if you have already seen it. Okay, do you have a recipe that you have a secret ingredient that just makes an already practically perfect recipe absolutely perfect? This is my “Million Dollar Fudge”. When I first published it, I didn’t know all of you yet and I had a hard time sharing the secret ingredient. If you notice in the first comment back then, my favorite daughter, made mention of it. But now that I love you all so much and feel like were best friends, I wanted to share it. So I edited the post and if you re-visit it you will have the secret ingredient to make your “Million Dollar Fudge” the best ever fudge perfect.
Merry Christmas and may we all remember the reason for the season. To enjoy it for what it truly is, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
