David’s Dutch Oven Breakfast Burritos!
When we go camping David’s Dutch Oven Breakfast Burrito’s are a must. Even our grandkids love them.
A good, hearty breakfast is a good start to a good day. They’re easy to make and easy to feed a group.
Dutch Oven Breakfast Burrito’s
Author: Wanda Ann
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 lb. grated cheese
- 1 dozen eggs
- 2 lbs. frozen hash browns
- 1 dozen large flour tortilla’s
- Cut stripes of bacon in bite size pieces. Cook bacon and sausage in dutch oven, when done add hash browns and cook till their done. Beat eggs and add to dutch oven mixture. Stir in cheese and that’s it. Add a couple of large spoonful's to a heated tortilla, add your favorite salsa, roll it up and enjoy! Our kids like to add ranch dressing instead of salsa or both.
You can make them at home too and you don’t have to make them in a dutch oven. We do it all the time. But if you’re going camping and especially serving a big group, this is your answer! David has made these dutch oven breakfast burritos for many years, for many people and they all come back for more.
