One of our favorite things to eat on the road is a
“Barbecue Pork Salad”
We first had this in Carlise, Arkansas at Nick’s Place. It sounded different, but we gave it try and LOVED IT! I would have never thought of putting barbecue sauce on my salad. This is a great way to use your leftover pork or beef and a different way to serve your pulled pork.
Yumm… it is Delicious!
romaine and iceberg lettuce
pulled pork or beef
Simply make your salad.
Add desired amount of barbecue sauce to heated pork and place on top of salad. We like to add a little Ranch dressing too!
That’s it, simple but worth every bite.

Call me crazy but I like this so much that on the road we stop at a Subway and order a salad, made the way we like and add their Philly Cheesesteak on top.
Then we carry our own barbecue sauce in the truck and add it to our salad.
Barbecue Beef Salad is another option. I loved it when Subway had their pulled pork.
If their listening, bring it back.
